| Surveying
- Land & Property |
|
TSP provides a range of services for the Land & Property sector, entailing measurement, collection, and processing of data from the natural or built environment. Applications such as site analysis and planning feasibility, design & construction, mapping or simply archiving, require reliable & accurately positioned data. TSP surveyors possess accumulated skills & experience in utilising a range of survey equipment & processing software including; Robotic Total Stations, GPS and Laser Scanners, plus Survey, CAD, GIS & Photogrammetry software.

| Topographic
Surveying |
 |
| Topographic Surveying is the process of measuring real world land parcels to scale, delineating features, both natural & manmade – with optional height information. The survey can be for a small site plan or larger mapped area. Topographic Surveying is fundamental to Cartography, Planning, Design & Construction, and is intrinsic to contouring, 3D plans & sections, DTM, visualisation, volumetrics, as-built surveys etc. TSP liaises with the client to project manage the survey using latest field capture technology and outputs processed 2D or 3D data in the required format. Data outputs include DXF, DWG, Moss Genio, SHP, TXT as well as hard copy. |

| Boundary | |
| Boundary or cadastral surveying involves the creation, delineation or retracing of legal boundaries. This may be for a boundary dispute with a neighbour, establishing the extent of a new housing development, vesting land for new road construction, determining the extent of a new wind-farm and turbine positions etc. Title deeds, folios or lines on Ordnance maps may not be apparent on the ground. TSP works with public & private clients, including solicitors and forensic engineers in establishing the accurate position of existing boundary features and transferring measurements as delineated in legal documents. |

| GPS
Surveying | |
| TSP offers survey grade Global Positioning to provide cost effective and cm accurate control, setting-out or data capture. The Ordnance Survey Zero Active GNSS stations now provide the national spatial framework in UK & Ireland. TSP offers static or real time RTK surveys and setting out using dual frequency GPS to local or national grid. TSP also offers a post-processing service using OS RINEX data. GPS applications include control networks, mapping, boundary, hydrographic & geophysical surveys and setting-out of construction & civil engineering projects. |

| Measured
Building | |
| A Measured Building Survey generally consists of Elevations, Internal Floor Plan & Sections. However, dependent on specification requirements, a comprehensive survey could also include a detailed façade, roof plan, floor levels, floor areas, external topography, manhole & services details, asset database, footprints of neighbouring buildings & ridge heights. If required, e.g. for listed or historic buildings, TSP can also provide 3D laser scans, orthorectified photographs, 2D transformation & visual verification. All measured surveys are conducted within a control framework related to national or local grid. |

| High
Density Surveying | |
| There is increasing demand for co-ordinated point cloud information for architectural and archaeological projects. TSP offers 3D laser scanning on larger projects, outputting digital geometric models or 2D transformation. 3D terrestrial high density surveying is also used for structural monitoring and accurately capturing geometry for other civil/infrastructure projects, industrial plant and facilities management. |

| Hydrographical
Surveying | |
| TSP offers hydrographical surveys of lakes, rivers, canals & other water courses including coastal regions. For Flood Risk Assessment, TSP provides Floodplain surveys, using direct or indirect contouring, river bed levels, river or culvert - longitudinal & cross sections. TSP can install & monitor flood gauge levels. For inland waterways TSP can supply bathymetry data. For developers, TSP can also supply flood zone information and ground/floor level control. |

| Planning
& Feasibility | |
| 3D models and images are increasingly being used by Architects & Planning Consultants to visualise proposed major city developments and for environmental impact assessment. Planning also entails verification of photographs and images to obviate distortion. TSP provides co-ordinated positions of camera vantage points and photographic features using GPS, HDS & Reflectorless total station surveys. This enables synchronicity of the actual view and the dimensional control of any superimposed design model. |
